Pentominoes Maths John & Sylis
Yesterday we started a Maths activity called pentomimes. When it started it looked kind of easy, but when you actually do it, it is kind of hard. You need to make all of the pieces fit together. You need to put it on the grid so you can start and try to make the shapes all fit on the grid. I thought it was hard because I could't put the pieces all fit on the grid without any gaps. This is what it looked like when we finished.

Great effort Sylis! Did you try to make a smaller rectangle? Sometimes that is a good way to start.
