Anzac Biscuits.

On Tuesday a group of people made Anzac biscuits. I put flower in the cup. It smelled nice. We made it in the school kitchen.  we made it because it was Anzac in the holidays. I ate my biscuits all by myself. We had to work as a team to make it. I felt happy to make Anzac biscuits.

Room 7 Trip To The Library.

Today room 7 went to the Panmure Library to learn about our mountain and  how it was there. First we learnt how to use a weapon we learnt three moves. After that we heard a story and we acted it as the fairy tribes. Pote was the princes and Eta was a princess. With our fighting skills we had a play fight like the Maoris did back in the day. Next we made a matau out of clay. We had fun making it. you have to roll the clay up and then make it flat. Next you get a matau necklace and then push the necklace in. Then the people asked questions to see if we were listening. Only 5 people were listening. Then it was time to go. We walked back to school. I felt happy.

Monday quick write.

On Tuesday a superhero called Superman came to save a man drowning in the pools. I asked him if he came from earth and he said I can't tell you that. He went to save someone else so I followed him and he went to the Tamaki river and he found a man dead. He was sad and said "I am not, a superhero". He went flying in to space. Why are you going to space I asked?. A whole group of people came to watch him go. He said "I live in space I come from Krypton". I need to go to my mum and dad."but you are a superhero COME BACK the town needs you".He stopped for a moment and said
 " OK the town needs me I will be the towns superhero".All the people of the town was happy and filled with joy.
