The hardest game ever
The hardest game ever
In the holidays I played Call of duty online with Harlem. We were having a 1v1 sniper battle to see who was the best. The map we were playing on was Nuketown 2025. I felt nervous because he was a good player. It was a trick shot battle.
The gun I used was the Ballista and the attachments were silencer, CPU & FMJ. (Full Metal Jacket). When we started I quickscoped Harlem but he spawn trapped me.
He was winning at the start but I was catching up. I was getting angry because Harlem kept killing me. The best trick shot I did was a 360 quickscope. I was excited that I got that trick shot.
In the end I won by one point, I felt happy. After that we played with other people online. I was happy that I beat a person that was good.

This morning room 9 went to baseball. Baseball was cool because we learnt how to bat, throw, catch and fielding. The best thing I learnt at baseball was catching. Thank you Nick for teaching us some skills and more. My focus today was batting because I am bad at batting and I would love to improve.

Harris Burdick Writing
Under the rug
It was a cold and rainy night in New York. Dave just retired from the circus not long ago and the circuits gave him a gift, a new lamp. Screek screek was the sound that woke up grumpy old Dave one day in July. “What is that sound? It's driving me insane,” shouted Dave as he was getting out of bed. He entered the living room. The most horrible sound that you could ever hear was the scream from Dave.
“Ahhhhh! There is a something under the mat” screamed Dave. Dave got a glass and put it on top of the thing that was under the mat. “I got you now” Dave said in a happy way. When he lifted the rug up he fell over and hit his head on his favourite lamp and broke it. Dave was knocked out.
Dave woke up and didn’t know what he was dealing with. He had never before seen the thing under the mat. “I think it is a mutant spider” Dave said. He tried to ignore it and go to sleep, but he was sick and tired of the noises it was making. He grabbed a chair and tried to hit the mutant spider but he kept missing.
Dave put in earbuds and tried to go to sleep again but the noise got louder and louder so Dave did something people sometimes do in the middle of the night and had a coffee and a biscuit. “If the coffee doesn’t work my skills will” said Dave proudly as he got his circus knives and tried to throw it at the mutant spider.
Bullseye. Dave got the mutant spider right in the head. “Now lets see what you are and if you are something that exists,” said Dave. When Dave lifted the mat up it was half spider half scorpion. Dave just discovered a new animal he called it the scorpider. From now on Dave was always scared of things that were under the mat.

ANZAC naritive.
History Again.
ANZAC story
By Sylis
There was a man named Jeff, he was in WW1. He was marching to his trench, suddenly there were bombs heading to Jeff. Jeff saw the Turkish people attacking. It was 2024 at Sky Island. It was raining and Jeff fell over in the sand that was now muddy sand. Jeff felt sore and hungry as he stood up. He saw his friend fall to the ground because he got shot in the chest by a sniper, Instantly Jeff ran to see if his friend was alright. Pain shot right through Jeff’s body while falling to the ground.
Jeff got shot in the leg. “Aaaaa my leg” said Jeff crying as he crawled to his friend. His friend died already. The Turkish people were pushing up to Jeff. Then Jeff recognized his brother.
“Brother help me” Jeff shouted to his brother.
“Hi Jeff i'm so sorry I shot you” said his brother, Stan.
“please help me”.
Stan was getting shot at so he picked up Jeff and ran away. When they stopped Jeff looked at his leg. He was losing too much blood.
Stan Cut a piece of his jacket off and tied it onto Jeff’s leg. Jeff felt angry because his leg was bleeding. Stan was in A lot of pain as well because the ammunition he was carrying was heavy. They were hiding at nearby forest. “Goodbye Brother”Jeff said then he pretended to die because Stan shot him by accident in the war. Stan was angry at himself and went back to fight for the the ANZAC’s. When it was over no one won so Stan went to where Jeff died.
Jeff was hiding behind the tree when Stan came. Stan looked back and Jeff was limping to where the war was and snuck into the trenches where he was waiting for the ship to come and get him. Stan looked at him and said “Goodbye” “I will come back for you” said Jeff. It was 2029 when Jeff went back. When Jeff went to Turkey to visit Stan, Stan died from Cancer. Their family was sad and they were all affected from the war. Jeff was gassed just after the war and died at the age of 36.
