Omaru River DLO

Today I have completed a DLO. I was working with Tiava. We were learning about Mad Ave and groups that help stop pollution. We made this DLO to show some good effects and some bad effects.

Food Tech

Today LS2 went to tech. We made Potato Salad with Chicken Kebabs. First Mrs Heka told us the stuff that we need to do. Then we took our ingredients and added it together. We then diced our chicken, potatoes and our onion. We then added all of the ingredients and cooked it. It was very tempting to eat but I saved it for school. It was yum.

Food Tech

On Friday at tech the Year 8's activity is food tech. At food tech we made toasted bread with spaghetti, ham, pineapple and cheese. First we made the toasted bread, Then we filled the toasted bread with the Spaghetti, Ham, Pineapple and cheese. It was very yum.

Water Care With Sally

I have completed my water testing DLO with Jeremiah. It has information about the experiments we did. The school leaders will be going down to Johnson reserve to test the water to see if it is polluted.

New Zealand Estuary Food Web

Today I have completed my food web. I was working with Oh Hsen on this task. First we had to look at some animals that live in a New Zealand Estuary. I enjoyed working on this because it was fun figuring out what ate what.

PBS Care Values

Today I was working with Oh Hsen, Tiava, Te Wai, Dallas, Joshua, Oh Hsen, Ofa, Jeremiah, Mathis and Zahra. We were working on this DLO. It is our school values. Our school values ore Confidence, Attitude  First we took notes of what it means and how we show it. Then we took photos showing the values and put it on this DLO. We have our school values help us learn the skill of Confidence, Attitude, Respect, Excellence and Innovation.
