ANZAC Poems

This is my reading task I have done this week. I worked with Daniel for this task. I had to read a poem, then you need to find the main idea. After that you have to find evidence that your main idea is right.

Writing a Narrative

“Oi stop”
Shouted John bin laden as he was chasing Steven james. Steven James was working for the G.I.C (Government Investigation Company) and just caught a man who kidnapped a child and stole a rare diamond. As he was running he tripped and fell. This was John’s chance to catch him. Boom! He was knocked out

“Get me out of here!” Shouted Steven.
“You're going nowhere” replied Jason (one of John’s henchmen). Steven remembered that the G.I.C gave him gadgets. One was a ring that a hot laser came out, it could melt anything. He melted the chains and got out. Suddenly he felt something grab him.

He saw a hand that was dragging him away from the chair he was strapped in. Then he stopped.
“Get up and fight like a man.” demanded John. Steven punched John in the teeth and he fell to the floor. John got up and punched Steven. Then they were fighting, fists and feet were flying everywhere, it looked like there was a circus happening. A hologram of John’s dad
“Stop!” Shouted a man.
“Who are you?” John replied
“I'm am the man the man who created you, I am your father” said the man.
“Run!” Shouted the man. Steven ran out the door and found a helipad.

Steven ran to the helipad and there was a helicopter and it was landing, It was the best helicopter flyer in the organisation. “Let’s go home Steven your wife is waiting for you” Steven knew that was a hologram 200. It could hologram anyone and anything.

This is my narrative I wrote this week. This term I learnt about TOPES and a structure of a narrative. I had to write a story using TOPES. It was fun learning about TOPES this term in writing.

Mathletics

Today my maths group went and had a mathletics. It was hard for me because there were hard questions. My partner was CJ. When you got your question you had to write down the answer on a piece of paper, then you have to run across the courts and then to Mrs Donaldson. If your answer is right you get I new piece of paper and do that again. I did not like it because it was hard. Here are the results.

Elephant toothpaste

This is my DLO about the Elephant toothpaste experiment. On Wednesday Mrs Dudding and Mrs Davis came from Edgewater college to show us a Chemical reaction. We talked about a chemical reaction and a physical reaction.

Food tech

At food tech we made a mango upside down cake. First we put golden syrup in the cake tin, then we put mango on top of the syrup. After that is done we put the batter in the cake tin. Mrs Heka baked it and when it was ready we all ate it.

Point of views

This is my work I have done about different point of views on our current events. I was the bus driver in this Ifake text. We made point of views on the Bus driver and the bus owner. A bias is only one point of view. There are more than one point of view in every situation.

Auckland bus drivers on strike

LI: Find and summarize about a current event.

This is my DLO I made with John. This DLO is about our current events. The article we red was about the bus drivers going on strike. We had to skim and scan of information about the bus workers going on strike.

Quick Write

Her first instinct was to scream. This, as it turned out, was a very bad idea. Palmer screamed in deep fear as her neighbors could hear her. Her neighbors came to check out what was happening, as soon they came Palmer was still screaming. Her neighbors came knocking on her door, Then it stopped and the door opened. The neighbors ran away screaming thinking that a ghost was in the house, but it a little Palmer that has opened the door. Palmer was in great fear of who was that, she couldn't think that who was that. Palmer was left alone as her parents when somewhere when she was asleep.

This is my quick write I worked on with June. I had to use DRAFT to make this quick write sound better.
